- Also use these IC bases to protect your IC from damage due to heat while soldering by first soldering the base to the board and then plugging in the IC later.
- Use this IC base for easily plugging in and out your IC during prototyping.
The sockets may be mounted end to end to achieve longer continuous runs. Sockets have chamfered side walls to assist insertion
