BMS stands for the Battery Management System. This is a 5S 15A BMS Board with an 18.5V voltage rating to charge 5 cells of Li-ion cells. The 5S 15A BMS Board comes with overcharge protection, over-discharge protection, short circuit, and over-current protection features. 5S 15A BMS Board is mostly used for solar lighting, for dedicated 18650 battery packs.
