This Waveshare 7-inch Capacitive Touch Display for Raspberry Pi 800×480 DSI can be used with the same commands as the official Raspberry Pi camera module. The Waveshare 7-inch Capacitive Touch Display is a 7″ panel offering up to 5-point capacitive touch (OS dependent) and 800×480 resolution. The Waveshare 7inch Capacitive Touch Display connects to your Raspberry Pi via the same DSI ribbon cable and 5V/GND jumper wire method as the official Raspberry Pi display. This leaves the majority of your GPIO pins free for your project.
