We all know that the core system of Raspberry Pi Zero is Linux and without NIC inconvenient. However, most of the operations are based on Linux’s command line via ssh service, that’s why we introduced this product.
The Pi Zero ENC28J60 is a simple Network Adapter module for Raspberry Pi Zero. It allows Raspberry Pi Zero to access the network smoothly, and it is easy to do system updates and install software.
The Raspberry Pi Zero Ethernet Shield is a board that contains an Ethernet port. The board is based on Microchip’s ENC28J60 integrated circuit and it can be used to provide internet connectivity to Raspberry Pi zero over Ethernet. The ENC28J60 Ethernet Module connects directly to Raspberry Pi Zero.

How to Configure:
- Install the NIC module into Raspberry Pi.
- Connect the network cable to ensure that your router supports DHCP and works well.
- Burn the Raspbian image to the TF card.
- Edit the /boot/config.txt file by your favourite editor such as “nano” or “vim.tiny”, and add the following parameter: dtoverlay=enc28j60
- Then save the exit and reboot for Raspberry Pi.
